NOMADIC Kyrgyzstan
After twenty plus years of hauling lights and cases around DC, I went to Kyrgyzstan with nothing but an iPhone in my pocket. No gear, no plan beyond hiking in remote areas, sleeping in yurts, and seeing how far into the mountains we could get. It was never about the gear, it was always about the eye. I am grateful for the mountains, the people who fed us, and the reminder that good light does not care what you are shooting with.
